On Friday, 7 November, Sandymount Community Centre was completely
taken over – by teens!
As part of the Sandymount Culture Programme, our Teen Takeover Gig Night brought young performers, bands and spoken‑word artists onto a real stage to showcase their talent and energy in front of a live audience.
Teen Takeover Gig Night is a teen‑run music night – by teens, for teens. The event is part of the Sandymount Culture Programme’s First Friday Events at Sandymount Community Centre.
The focus is on giving local teenagers the chance to perform live, build confidence and share their music with a supportive audience.
